HOMEBUYER’S BUCKET LIST

CHECKED OFF AT SUMMERFIELDS WEST

The Wildflower Model

The Wildflower model was the perfect home for Linda Pular. She wanted a new home that was affordable yet customizable to her needs. She found it all at Summerfields West, Williamstown, NJ’s new 55+ community.

Like so many 55-and-over active adults, former Ocean City, New Jersey resident Linda Pular had a bucket list to fulfill while searching for a new lifestyle in South Jersey. After hearing about the Summerfields West community in Williamstown from a friend, she would soon discover that everything she wanted could be found right here, at one of the area’s most popular and eminently affordable ways of living. Linda’s requirements included an affordable customizable home, a convenient location, a serene setting and an ultra-friendly neighborhood. As she discovered upon moving in during October of 2017, Summerfields West did not disappoint.

Spacious and Sunny

Starting with the home design itself, Linda found everything she desired at Summerfields West. “I wanted a new home that was very affordable, had a large master bedroom and a garage,” she said. “I chose the Wildflower home design because it was very spacious, had three bedrooms and was adaptable to the custom features I wanted to add, not the least of which was the garage.” In addition, Linda incorporated an entry foyer by eliminating a window and pulling the front door out slightly, one of many of the available options offered on the five distinctive home styles at Summerfields West, where putting the individual needs of every customer first has been the community developer’s way of doing business for well over half a century. Summerfields West is a Temple Companies Lifestyle community.

Personalization through Options

“The Wildflower really lent itself to the alterations I wanted to make and the developer was only too happy to oblige,” she noted. “Beautiful hardwood floors and a fireplace are also part of my new home,” she said. “I was even able to get a little creative with the master bath by eliminating the second sink and dropping the counter down to where the sink had been to make it a vanity for putting on makeup. Also, I have Corian counters in the kitchen and granite in the master bath with a great whirlpool tub and handy pocket doors in the laundry and master bath. I can honestly say that since day one, the developer and the staff have been nothing short of wonderful to work with, from the first time I met Anne Marie, the sales manager, who made so many great suggestions concerning all of my needs, to how well everything worked out in designing the home I really wanted, without having to settle for something else, while still getting the bargain of a lifetime. I couldn’t be happier!”

Linda’s Wildflower home style rests on a corner lot that provides additional outdoor space and backs up to a water retention basin, allowing enhanced, permanent backyard privacy. “I love the corner lot because it brings in more light and the rooms are so sunny and bright.”

Great Neighborhood and Neighbors

Of course, no interview with a Summerfields West resident has ever ended without mention of the friendly neighborhood environment, often a “game changer” in many a homebuyer’s decision to move here. “I love my neighbors like you couldn’t imagine,” she said. “Everyone looks out for each other. We do lots of things together, which is important to me. I’m really looking forward to the completed construction of the clubhouse, so everyone can get together there. I walk a lot, sometimes even at night, but I always feel very safe. If I travel or go away for a few days, I know my neighbors will watch over things for me. Summerfields West is such a great place to live!”
