When you purchase a Summerfields West 55+ manufactured home we start from the inside out to make it green and lean. Although you may not be familiar with all the terms, you should be aware of what you get in your home and some of these advantages are behind the walls so you don’t see them but you enjoy the results. We use three different code-specified insulations in the home:
- R-27 for floor insulation
- R-19 for wall insulation
- R-38 for ceiling insulation
The furnace is a national brand name with forced air gas furnace, and a 40 gallon gas water heater. For air conditioning we install a 2.5 ton central air system and the doors and vinyl thermal windows are insulated. That means a comfortable home year around and great showers and baths.

The home’s exterior is protected by vinyl siding for long life and no maintenance features. The roof is the time-tested asphalt shingle with no rust aluminum gutters and downspouts. Front exterior lights and a concrete walkway from the front door to the road and an 8’ x 8’ storage shed as well. There are many more exterior features to review but this gives you an idea of our attention to detail.
