They are not so much just holidays, but special days

I was recently at a food seminar where I saw a poster for, National Rotisserie Chicken Day. Yes, I am serious! You celebrate by making a rotisserie chicken from a recipe you find in a cookbook or use your own. Then to take photos or videos and share the fun on social media.

But Wait!!!

Once I began to look into this, I found that chicken lovers across the country recognize National Fried Chicken Day by eating fried chicken at a restaurant, or home.

Then there’s National Curried Chicken Day–the idea is to create dishes with a flavorful
Spice varieties to serve to friends and family.

There’s more–National Chicken Cordon Bleu Day. A dish combing chicken, ham, and cheese. The chicken breast is flattened to wrap around the other items. The name comes out of French meaning “Blue Ribbon.”

Adult Community in South JerseyMany of these special days are concocted by companies. The International House of Pancakes found the perfect match for their brand and launched IHOP National Pancake Day. It was a charity fundraiser.

Of course we cannot forget International Coffee Day. The International Coffee Organization started it in Milan, Italy in 2015. It now encompasses a host of countries.

Small Business Day celebrates small businesses. The Small Business Administration designated it to occur around the same time as the National Small Business Week.

Black Friday functions the day after Thanksgiving and supposedly offers great bargains to shoppers.
Cyber Monday, not to be outranked by Black Friday, takes place on the Monday after Thanksgiving. It’s all digital e-shopping.
